Philosophical aspect - Potter fans, Think about it!!!
I have posted a portion below from Harry Potter and the Sorcerrer's stone to convey a very deep and philosophical meaning hidden here. World is not as it really seems to us. In childhood we were told all sorts of fairy tales in which in the end Prince comes and saves the princess by killing the beast. We fantasize about such princes and princesses in our childhood and it's ofcourse good. Talking at sub-consious level, the sub-consious level of mind is highly active in childhood stage between age group 3-12. And through these stories they ultimately have a good impression about kindness and hatered for evil and dark forces. So ultimately a child becomes well mannered and kind hearted. But along with this a trouble shoots up. Children start living in this dreamland only and are obsseced with the fact that this real life is also a fairy tale in which no one ever gets into trouble and sad while the reality is completely opposite. This world is very harsh and tyrant. They grow up but avoid to grow up. They do not want to belive that the dream world they built in their childhood is not real and that the facts are much bitter. They don't wanna accept the reality once they grow up and reach adolscense. Battle inside mind on such topics is a comman experience of all once we enter our teenage. J.K. Rowling also wanna convey the same meaning indirectly that no doubt this dreamland(mirror of erised, Harry Potter books) is very fanciful and wonderfull but the fact still remains that they are not real. They give neither truth nor knowledge. By getting involved in them and forgetting reality is not advicable. This post is specially for parents because they want to provide every comfort to their new born baby but take care that your child does'nt get caught in this storm of dreamland forget truth when its time for him to start a battle with this competitive world.

"So -- back again, Harry?"
Harry felt as though his insides had turned to ice. He looked behind
him. Sitting on one of the desks by the wall was none other than Albus
Dumbledore. Harry must have walked straight past him, so desperate to
get to the mirror he hadn't noticed him.
" -- I didn't see you, sir."
"Strange how nearsighted being invisible can make you," said Dumbledore,
and Harry was relieved to see that he was smiling.
"So," said Dumbledore, slipping off the desk to sit on the floor with
Harry, "you, like hundreds before you, have discovered the delights of
the Mirror of Erised."
"I didn't know it was called that, Sir."
"But I expect you've realized by now what it does?"
"It -- well -- it shows me my family --"
"And it showed your friend Ron himself as head boy."
"How did you know --?"
"I don't need a cloak to become invisible," said Dumbledore gently.
"Now, can you think what the Mirror of Erised shows us all?"
Harry shook his head.
"Let me explain. The happiest man on earth would be able to use the
Mirror of Erised like a normal mirror, that is, he would look into it
and see himself exactly as he is. Does that help?"
Harry thought. Then he said slowly, "It shows us what we want...
whatever we want..."
"Yes and no," said Dumbledore quietly. "It shows us nothing more or less
than the deepest, most desperate desire of our hearts. You, who have
never known your family, see them standing around you. Ronald Weasley,
who has always been overshadowed by his brothers, sees himself standing
alone, the best of all of them. However, this mirror will give us
neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away before it, entranced by
what they have seen, or been driven mad, not knowing if what it shows is
real or even possible.

Comparision between Snape and Voldemort
Snape and voldemort are similar in many ways yet totally different from each other.
Both are few of the most intelligent and brillient students hogwarts had ever seen.
Both were slytherin which naturely means both were cruel selfish and highly dangerous. They had an uncanny inclination for dark arts, both simply loved torturing innocents. Their brillience was such that they both bent the rules of magic to invent something new like dumbledore who could do extra-ordinary things with a wand no one had ever seen but they developed distructive things.
But yet Snape harboured love inside him, secret love for Lily Evans which Voldemort never had. Voldemort never understood love coz he never had any in his life. He was brought up in an orphanage home, he had no true friends, he liked loneliness, no one loved him or liked his company. He never loved anyone and no one loved him which made him more inhuman. Moreover his magical transformations rendered him simply senseless and inhuman yet immortal, as Hagrid said "there's not much human left in him to die".
But snape is different, he also is cruel and powerful but he gave away for his love. Love can make people do anything. It was love which changed Snape. Love is a very complex yet more powerful force than any other force not only in magical world but also in real world. Voldemort never understood love and thus his powers could not fight with love care feelings and affections which threw him out when he tried to possess Harry at ministry of magic in 5th book.
Even Jesus preches us "Love All"
So follow him and love all living being!!!!!!!!!
God bless you all

LOVE!!!!
The thing which made and always makes all the difference in the world....
Severus Snape is one of the fictional character in the book series Harry Potter which is fairly misunderstood even now when the mystry has been unraveled.
The basic discription of character tells us about his nature....
Clothed in overlong black clock and gliding around in castel like a overgrown bat!!!
It sounds like a very creepy character and so he is. A very arrogant, rude and merciless teacher though he may be, inside this arrogant man was a small boy full of kindness and love which got buried with time and adolscense.
Severus Snape was never the same as he was as an adult, he was a good kid.
But due to his upbringing and lack of love he turned to darker side of life.Deep inside him he secretly loved Lily Evans{potter}. So strong was his love that he litraly cried on her death.
It was nothing but love which brought him back from the cluthes of dark arts, deep remorse which he felt after death of Lily, his love he changed completly. He joined hands with Dumbledore in order to protect Harry Potter son of Lily Potter. Though he never liked either him or his father he did it just because it was her last dying wish to protect her son.
Severus Snape had a deep liking for dark arts. Lets say it was his weakness. That's why Dumbledore never allowed him any where near dark arts. He feared that Snape would return to old ways and his love and remorse might die off once again.
These are my views on my faviourite character of Harry potter series which is Severus Snape.
Though he is intelligent, brilliant yet cruel, arrogant, rude and a dark character he still has human left in him that is he still has love inside him unlike Lord Voldemort is inhuman.

Half-Blood Prince delayed until July 17th, 2009
Warner Brothers has just announced that Half-Blood Prince will be delayed. The film will instead be released on July 17th, 2009. From the press release:
In making the announcement, Mr. Horn stated, “Our reasons for shifting ‘Half-Blood Prince’ to summer are twofold: we know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment. Additionally, like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers’ strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films—changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. We agreed the best strategy was to move ‘Half-Blood Prince’ to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tent pole release for mid-summer.”
